OptoNet II: An Advanced MATLAB-Based Toolbox for Functional Cortical Connectivity Analysis With Surrogate Tests Using fNIRS

چکیده
Cortical connectivity analysis is a widely used method for understanding the causes of neurological disorders and related brain mechanisms. Although there exist numerous activity toolboxes functional near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS), are only few cortical toolboxes. In 2019, we released MATALB toolbox named OptoNet, which has helped researchers to analyze networks using fNIRS. this study, developed an advanced MATLAB toolbox, OptoNet II, add new features that overcome shortcomings OptoNet. With these features, II can efficiently according region any fNIRS channel sets present results two analyses with auto-thresholding based on surrogate tests. MATLAB toolbox for functional connectivity
The term "functional connectivity" is used to denote correlations in activation among spatially-distinct brain regions, either in a resting state or when processing external stimuli. Functional connectivity has been extensively evaluated with several functional neuroimaging methods, particularly PET and fMRI. Yet these relationships have been quantified using very different measures and the ext...
متن کاملA MATLAB toolbox for Granger causal connectivity analysis.
Assessing directed functional connectivity from time series data is a key challenge in neuroscience. One approach to this problem leverages a combination of Granger causality analysis and network theory. This article describes a freely available MATLAB toolbox--'Granger causal connectivity analysis' (GCCA)--which provides a core set of methods for performing this analysis on a variety of neuros...
متن کاملFATCAT: (An Efficient) Functional And Tractographic Connectivity Analysis Toolbox
We present a suite of software tools for facilitating the combination of functional magnetic resonance imaging (FMRI) and diffusion-based tractography from a network-focused point of view. The programs have been designed for investigating functionally derived gray matter networks and related structural white matter networks. The software comprises the Functional and Tractographic Connectivity A...
